Free, no obligation Takes about a minute Paid before pickup

We buy cars all over Dandenong

From Dandenong North to Keysborough, and Noble Park to Hallam, we buy cars right across Greater Dandenong. We also buy cars further out in Berwick, Cranbourne North and Clyde North. We are a licensed motor dealer (NSW MD 077404, Autohaus Australia Pty Ltd) buying cars Australia-wide, and the business is run by a valuer who has priced cars since 1992.

Fill in the form or call 1800 73 55 73 for a genuine offer by phone, not an online estimate. Accept it and we pay a deposit, often the same day, then inspect the car at a time and place that suits you. The balance goes into your bank account, and the car is collected only once you confirm the funds have cleared. See every step in how it works.

The cars we buy in Dandenong

Dandenong South is one of Melbourne’s big industrial and freight areas, so plenty of local vehicles earn their keep. We can buy your work ute, whether it is a Toyota HiLux, an Isuzu D-MAX or something else. If it is registered to your business, read how selling a company car works first.

Out in Narre Warren, Berwick and Clyde North, it is family SUVs and people movers on the school run. We can buy your car there too, from the Hyundai Tucson to the Kia Sportage. See what we look for in utes and 4WDs and SUVs.

We are buying cars, utes, SUVs and 4WDs from 2021 or newer with 100,000 km or less. Older or higher kilometres? Send it through anyway and we will tell you straight away if we can help.

Selling a car in Dandenong without the hassle

The Princes Highway through Dandenong has no shortage of car yards. A trade-in there means negotiating with the people selling you your next car. A private sale means a listing, scam messages, strangers for test drives and checking that a payment is real before you hand over the keys.

Sell your car to us instead. The valuation is free, there is no obligation and no fees come out of the offer. Still paying it off? We deal with your lender directly and pay you any equity, as explained in selling a car under finance. We also buy cars down the road in Frankston and out along the freeway in Warragul.

Paperwork in Victoria

In Victoria you let VicRoads know within 14 days of the sale, most easily through the notice of disposal in myVicRoads. VicRoads emails to confirm the car is out of your name. Keep a copy of the transfer form. When you sell to us, we prepare the sale paperwork, help with the transfer and make sure your notice to VicRoads is done correctly.

Do you need a roadworthy? Usually not when you sell to us. On a private sale of a registered car, the seller has to give the buyer a roadworthy certificate (RWC) less than 30 days old. VicRoads’ transfer rules do not require one when a private owner sells to a dealer. We hold a NSW dealer licence, so we confirm what applies to your car on the call. Read our guides to selling a car in Victoria and selling a car in Australia.

What we are buying right now

Good to know
In Victoria the new owner pays the transfer fee and any motor vehicle duty, so neither comes out of your sale, and we take no fees out of our offer. Cancel any rego direct debit before the sale. If you want to keep custom plates, remove them and transfer or store them before the sale, otherwise the buyer is presumed to take the plate rights with the car.

Selling your car in Dandenong: your questions

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call us and ask.

1800 73 55 73
Do you buy cars in Noble Park, Springvale and Keysborough?

Yes. We buy cars all over the Dandenong area, including Noble Park, Springvale, Keysborough, Doveton, Hallam, Endeavour Hills, Narre Warren and Berwick. Call 1800 73 55 73 or fill in the form and you get a genuine offer by phone, not an online estimate.

How does collection work from Dandenong?

After you accept our offer, we inspect the car at a time and place that suits you, whether that is home or a work site in Dandenong South. The balance goes into your bank account, and we arrange collection only once you confirm the funds have cleared.

How do I tell VicRoads I have sold my car?

In Victoria you let VicRoads know within 14 days of the sale. The easiest way is the notice of disposal in myVicRoads, and VicRoads emails to confirm the car is out of your name. Keep a copy of the transfer form. When you sell to us, we prepare the sale paperwork, help with the transfer and make sure your notice to VicRoads is done correctly.

Can I sell a work ute that is registered to my business?

Yes. Plenty of utes around Dandenong South are registered to a company or an ABN, and we buy those too. The registered owner is the seller, so the right person needs to sign. Tell us on the call what is fitted, such as a tray, canopy, racks or towbar, so the offer matches the ute you actually have.

What cars are you buying right now?

We are buying cars, utes, SUVs and 4WDs built in 2021 or later with 100,000 km or less. Any make is welcome, and we have strong demand for European and prestige models, dual-cab utes and family SUVs. If your car sits just outside that, send it through anyway and we will tell you straight away whether we can help.

When do I get paid?

Once we agree on a price, we can often pay a deposit the same day. After an inspection, the balance is paid into your bank account by bank transfer. The car is collected only after you confirm the funds have cleared, so you are never left without the car and without the money.

Can I sell my car if I still owe money on it?

Yes. We deal with your lender directly to pay out the loan, then pay you any equity left over. Cars under finance usually take 2 to 3 business days to settle. If you owe more than the car is worth, the difference has to be covered before settlement, and we show you the numbers before you decide.
